POSITION TITLE:          21st CCLC Site Coordinator - We Are Community! 

 

FLSA:                             Exempt

 

QUALIFICATIONS:        Must hold proper state certification

 

REPORTS TO:              Project Coordinator 

 

Position Overview:

The Jefferson County School District is seeking a passionate and organized Certified Site Coordinator for its after-school program. The Site Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of the program, ensuring a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for students. This role involves planning and implementing activities, managing staff, and fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and the community.

                            

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

- Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the after-school program, including scheduling, activities, and staffing.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes academic enrichment, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
- Supervise and support program staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with district policies, state regulations, and safety standards.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and community stakeholders.
- Monitor student attendance and engagement, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Collect and analyze data to assess program effectiveness and inform continuous improvement efforts.
- Organize family engagement events and opportunities for parent involvement in the program.
- Collaborate with school administrators and teachers to align after-school activities with school goals and student needs.

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:   

  1. Abide by state statutes, school board policies, and regulations.
  2. Attend meetings and perform duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors.
  3. Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
  4. Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
  5. Serve on committees as assigned.
  6. Remain current on instructional practices in education.  (e.g., instructional technology)
